OCD....??

I was on the train way back home when i saw this article on OCD from YahooNews facebook. It caught my attention because it was talking about things I didn't know about OCD... I thought OCD was only about washing hands many many times or crazy about cleanliness. But after reading this article, i thought those symptoms that the woman has sounded familiar.... Like she did some action repeatedly, keep checking the lock...

So i went to further read up about the symptoms that was linked from the same website. And found that the sypmtoms, other than cleanliness, include quite a number of other things.

Quoted from "Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: How do you know if you have one?", OCD symptoms include Pathological doubts, e.g, repeatedly thinking "doors are probably not locked’, ‘is the gas on?’, need to do things in a particular way and order leading to slowness in tasks and repeatedly being unable to throw or give away old clothes, books, papers...

After reading that article, I think out of all the symptoms, i hit at least a quarter of them? Especially the part about pathological doubts and don't bear to throw things away...

I think my internship has cause my OCD symptoms to amplify (if i have OCD in the first place). Especially my trainer supervisor (not the lab supervisor). I am so worried something will go wrong whenever I am doing her logistic lists. If i missed out anything, i think i might as well take MC and don't go to work the next day. And i think she is scary in that i think her face can become very black and her hidden warnings behind her sentences. And i seriously suspect she is complaining behind me. Like seriously, can at least tell me where I am wrong what. Don't ask another person to tell me or sth. I see your face i also don't dare to ask you, always give me those "You-don't-know-where-you-are-wrong?-Still-dare-to-ask-me" type of face. Lucky I don't need to face her when I am in the lab, only when need to go school and has to sit in the same car.

Because of that, one logistic list i check like 2 to 3 times before the logistics are brought down. But still I am worried there are things missing.

Like yesterday, there was this school that need sterile water and the logistics were prepared by me only and happen to be hers. Then I am so unlucky that I happen to miss out aliquotting sterile water into the some of microtubes. And it so happen that the extra sterile water was also not enough. When my internship friend told me through whatapp, i was like going into a frenzy + crazy mode. Keep thinking "i am finished, should i sms her and apologise?"... Lucky my friend found sterile water from that school, or esle i think she will confront me today.

Now I am worried about her SpringField lists, cause i didn't get to check finish and it had to be delivered down already. Though i checked once a few days before, I'm still worried there are missing things. Then today she go ask my lab supervisor to ask me about how i packed the antibiotic discs. See, now i am starting to doubt how i packed them and scare that there are tubes i missed putting the antibiotic discs in. Worse, in addition, i am beginning to think there are missing items and feel like packing another's class worth of logistics just in case.

Aiya! I think mine is not really the serious type of OCD because according to the web, it is time to seek treatment only when these symptoms start affecting the normal daily functioning of a person. I think it is just the internship that cause my OCD to become worse than before internship. Haha.

Enjoyment gained from DIY...

This week, or rather this whole month, I did a lot of handicrafts... A pair of earring on that week i was going pub, a ring on wednesday (22 feb) and polymer clay on saturday.

Guess i was too stress recently. Like over the fyp grouping and over itp.

I sort of forget all about my troubles when i do some DIY things....

Venting about my ITP experience...

Recently I felt really stress over my itp. The assignments i was given and especially when I have to assist in science workshop in schools. I really dislike going to secondary school because I am not confident in dealing with the students' questions. And especially when I don't know what is the expectation of the staffs too. What i thought was good may not be the case for them, which was why i felt stress working there.

And my damn supervisor kept giving me horrible grades! I don't understand why. First, when I thought I wrote until very nice in my log book, the grades she gave was bad. Second, I wrote very little in my log book and the grades was worse. Third, I wrote full 2 pages and the grades worsen. Seriously, what does she wants?!

And i really damn hate her attitude. I think i did more than someone in the company and yet my grades was same as that person. WHAT IS THIS!! I am so unlucky to get her as my sub-supervisor and she happen to be the one marking my log book. Honestly i don't freaking care anymore. No matter what i wrote the grades will still be bad, what for i put so much time and effort into writing the log book if all the grades were bad.

Anyway, I already told myself that i shouldn't care so much about the grades. But what i really dislike was that my grades was bad because of that type of people. And i really hate getting myself reflected badly because of that type of people.

Seriously, I lost a lot of opportunities in this internship! Firstly, i got attached to a low-level lab, didn't get exposed to a lot of high tech equipments or get to read recommended journals. Secondly, I lost a very important opportunity to go to China DuJiangYan for OCIP, especially when i already made many friends in the team. And i was SUPER DISAPPOINTED AND IRRITATED that i cannot go. I really felt that I would have gain more going for the OCIP than in the internship.

But despite all that were lost, I also gained a lot of experience through this internship. Like People relationship, the reality i faced with that staff, getting a bit more confident in lab skills than i used to, knowing that i am not suitable for lab work and most importantly, the likelihood of not being suitable in science industry.

Sister's WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT!

Went to help out in my sister's wedding photoshoot on 23 February (took a half-day leave to do so). It was a nice experience though i didn't do much on that day. Just help them packed lunch (chicken rice), helped out in taking bag, help pull the gown when needed and helping the photographer to hold the flashlight for camera at night.

I didn't know that taking wedding photoshoot is a long process. They started from 11.20am and the photoshoot ends only at around 9pm. Anyway, we went from being indoor to outdoor photoshoot at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (4pm) and then to night photoshoot at Marina Bay Sands (7pm plus).

Haha, at least after this experience, I know what to do for wedding photoshoot next time already. Like should consider about which part of a location to take photo and consider some posing position from magazine. And also know what to expect in wedding photoshoot, haha.

Yesterday was my first time going to a club and I really enjoyed it! We went in at 1130pm and i leave at around 2.45am because the person who are driving us home are going home.

It was actually a fun Xperience though! Especially when we hit the dance floor. It was actually after those dance that i really feel dizzy or drunk. I didn't think i drank a lot because my sister told me those jars of drinks at our table are not hard liqour though.

Haha, and though i'm dizzy, i actually manage to tweet when otw home. Because i was really dizzy and have to focus on something, so i kept tweeting. I was so dizzy until i didn't even bother to remove my makeup or bath. But actually throughout the whole time, i was awake and actually aware of what is happening around me. But just don't know why i feel very dizzy. I also kept laughing to myself. Guess I'm drunk but not THAT drunk?

Haha, it was a really unforgettable night! I want to go again! But expensive though. Yesterday get to drink a lot was because Jason won a $1000 voucher at ZOUK.

Yesterday went to a night bazaar that i liked and had a really surreal night from then on.
These photos are taken from a wall at the bazaar! They showcase household items that are designed by artists and won a reward from the museum.
After having some nice cold caramel coffee, we went to walk from chinatown to esplanade. In the midst, we walk past this street that is filled with clubs. It was a bit overwhelming though. Then we reach Fullerton Hotel! That street has a very nice scenery, with the blue bridge and MBS in sight!
Afterwards, we went to esplande and sit along the platform to watch the lights show at MBS that begins at 11pm. We watched from afar so can only see laser lights and MBS lighting up in an array of colours! You all should go and check it out too! Every day at 8pm there will be a show.
So by the time we finish watching, it's already 1120pm. As we were looking for the car park to mrt, we saw 2 policeman. Haha, in the end, They directed us to the correct car park to mrt.
By the time we reach our house's mrt, it's already 12am. And instead of going home straight away, we went to the 24hr indian shop nearby and ate prata! It reminds me of the time at Malaysia eating prata with my CCA mates. So missing those times!
After the night yesterday, i felt so disoriented today... Must have had a really fun outing yesterday. First time so late then reach home and everything felt so surreal...

Today we went to do spring cleaning and mural painting at some of the less fortunate's home. My group that has ten people only need to clean their living room and their attached room. I think i didn't really did much because things i want to do are already did by others... So i just wipe around the places...
There's this time when my teammates are cleaning the bed, or rearranging the bed; that's when i really don't feel like going into the room. Cause they say maybe got bedbugs, and i really don't feel like bringing them home.
But i really enjoyed doing the painting on the wall, though didn't get to paint a lot as need to let others paint too =). I only get to paint the dark pink colour (as compared to the baby pink) underside of the flower and 2 of the yellow colour flower.
Then after that, we went to IMM Giant and Diaso to get the items for car wash!

Went to a night market yesterday! The night market consist of booths set up by local designers and artists. We shopped for a few hours there, like around 3 hours. But of course in between we went to sit + chat in the cafe there.
We actually walk throughtout the market for more than 3 times, until I was a bit overwhelm by the things there. Every time i walk past the shop, I was saw something i want to buy. In the end, i spent like more than $40 at the night market. The realisation that i spent too much came when i was on the bus. Lucky my mum didn't know about how much we spent (大姐！不要讲出去啊！）.

Then at the night market, i bought a $26-worth of stuff at this booth, because they sell lots of DIY kits. I bought the DIY kit for earrings, hair clips and rings. So today, i went to make the earrings! But now, i think i wasted my time doing it; coz I got homeworks, datasheets to do and tests to prepare. And all are due next week!

Hai~~, all the stress are making me spending lot of money and making me do a lot of ridiculous stuff, haha!

Yeah! I finally did this squirrel felt. Couldn't find the time to do it earlier (cause was busy with sleeping and watching all those dramas, etc). Originally was thinking how do I cut out the squirrel picture on the felt or should I paint instead of using felt. Then yesterday's art and craft session gave me an idea how I can do it. So before school reopen next week, I think I better start doing it today. And yesterday I bought this really sharp, really nice and easy to cut scissor! This way there won't be a lot of 'fur' at the edges.
Haha, I'm impressed wth myself for cutting out the squirrel in the right shape, at least i think it look like one. Feel like cutting out the owl shape or deer shape next time. Aiya, too bad I don't have any more white/neutral colour recycle bags, or esle I can made some more bags and give others.

Maybe I should find something esle where I can paste them on, not just recycle bags. =).

Today went to the (primary) student service to celebrate their children day. Wah, after today, I think I'll never want to take part in children day event. I know that children are hard to control, but I never expect it to be that hard… We had to depend on the staff there to help us control the kids, but that is not until 10 minutes later.
We played charade, a game that is a bit like catching (which we had to stop halfway because of the noise made at the void deck). So we changed to playing Musical Chair with music blasting from iphone. The programme ends with an art and craft session, which I greatly enjoyed most because the kids are more cooperative (after getting a scolding from the staff because the kids were fighting).
Is funny how kids become a lot more cooperative when you threaten them with presents or threaten them with things like calling their parents or banned them from party next time and how they can quarrel over small matter. But they also remind me of my childhood, how little things like a packet of stationary would thrill me and how much I hate those who grouped together and bully the others, as well as how scared I am whenever someone of higher authorities threaten to call my parents.
Haha, honestly, I’m glad I had outgrown that period.

Went to do Mooncake today! First time doing mooncake and initially, the mooncakes came out was a bit strange and many was rejected. Almost the whole big plate of mooncake was rejected. So we have to redo them. Then because too many was rejected several times, our leader went to look for the chef to help us 'troubleshoot'. Turn out we left our snow skin in the air for too long and can't wrap the fillings or shape the mooncake properly.
Haha, so after lunch, everyone in the group was like expert in making mooncake. Shape was right, wording on the mooncake is more obvious and speed of making was faster. The mooncake actually is a bit difficult to make, especially the shaping part, cause sometime the wording and sometime shape don't seem to come out as obvious as it should be.

(ii) Row them into balls and wrap fillings in skin.

(v) Slap it out.

(vi) And your mooncake is out!

Some rejected mooncake for volunteers to take home. But these mooncakes are just rejected because the wordings is not very obvious or just because some of them the fillings can be seen frm the outside.

Yeah! Exam is finally over! Have so many things I want to do this holiday, especially after that horrible stressful 2 months since July.
Today when i checked my mail, I saw this email forwarded by a teacher. After reading it, I felt that what Steve Jobs said in the speech is really true. I quoted this part which I felt what he said was very right:

" 'I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.' "

After reading this paragraph, I realise that finding something you like to do is really important. Now that I'm in a science course, I know that I really hated science. I hated how the industry is so small and competitive, and how one research needed so many years to do and needed so many evidence to support it. I think it is too late to back-out from what I had chosen and started. Despite that, I still don't know if I really want to settle with science. But for one, I know that in science, it won't "gets better and better as the years roll on", at least I think that's what going to happen with me.

And seriously, not everyone can do something they liked and get rich like what Steve Jobs does.

Yeah! My japanese rose finally blossom! I thought they won't blossom already since i bought them for so long and never respond at all. Saw the flower today when I woke up at noon. So I quickly took picture of it before it wither away. By late afternoon, the flower already started to shrink and when the sun is completely down, the flower already disappear. Seriously, the flower have short lifespan but the plant can live quite long, after all, there are a few occasion when I didn't water them for quite long and they still survive.

Did some artificial seeds for Thursday's plant biotech practical. Bought some of the seeds home, thinking that maybe I can grow them. LOL, but then, my friend said she heard the teacher said that it can't grow unless suitable growing condition/nutrients are provided. I already packed the seed home then know. So decided to take some picture then throw it away. Don't dare to put it in the refrigerator, scare later the CaCl or sth diffuse into my food then later everyone gt poisoning or sth.
Actually, the practical would be quite fun, if I don't have to worry about contamination and about growing fungi instead of the plant. And plant biotech's datasheet is really not fun to do at all.

Flow Cytometry report is finally done!
Rush FCY report the whole day on thursday, from 10am in the morning and didn't sleep until 5am in the morning. Why?
Simple, because somebody in our group happily went travelling without completing her part and left everything to us to complete. While she's enjoying her life, we are here rushing report for her all the way late into the night. What?! She still say she will complete her part at night when she's oversea. HAHA, LIKE REAL. And best of all, she gets to have the same grade as us!
I ended up sleeping until 7pm yesterday and got a horrible headache because of all these late nights. Slept at 5am on Thursday morning and woke up at 6.30am. Then because of the report, i ended sleeping at 5am again on Friday morning. So in the end, only slept for a total 1.5 hours for the two days. How can don't get headache like that! Thanks ar.

Went for a camp today, so long never went for camp, almost forgot what a camp does. But anyway, I think today's camp was quite fun, with the games and everything. Haha, and our group got top in the games...
We named our group "PanaChoc" because eating Panadol is common in our group and the theme was actually chocolate. So we just named our group "PanaChoc" and we pronounce it as 'Pan-Dol' in our group's cheer.

Starbucks is having this promotion whereby all frappucinnos are half-price between 3pm to 5pm!

So, Yesterday went down to Kallang Leisure Park with sis/bro especially to get the frappucinos and then, the machines were down (of all time)!! We ended up eating ice-cream and cold poach chocolate @ Awfully Chocolate.

And today, my friends and I went to foodcourt 5 at 230pm to get the starbuck. I thought we could at least find a seat and wait until 3pm then go buy the drinks. But then, at 230pm, the queue was already quite long. So we ended up lining up half an hour before 3pm.
By the time we can get our orders, it's already 3pm plus. So since I queue for so long, cannot just buy one cup mah, like so 不花算。I ended up buying two largest cup size frappucinos (Dark Mocha and Chocolate Chips) for $8, which can only buy one cup without the promotion. Hehe, and now, they are sitting in the freezer while waiting for my sister to come home and all four of us can share the two large size Starbucks. My mum kept asking me if the drinks got any effect on sleep a not...which i think has no effect bah...

I think after today, my sore throat is going to 'grow' into cough, with all the chocolate and coffees this 2 days...

Today, erm, I mean yesterday, was my mum's birthday. So after making the macaroons, we went out to Bugis to have Nyonya Buffet together. We ate from around 6pm to 9pm. I think the food were quite good, I liked the gado-gado (first photo you see) most. The laksa was also quite nice. Well, buffet makes me happy and we reached home at ten =).

This 2 bowls of food may look normal, but they're anything but simple. We were already very very full when we took them. The aloe-vera jelly had a lot, like around 3 lime, added inside. And the laksa, well, let's just says we're already too full to eat it. So, my brother and I sort of went childish and played scissor-paper-stone, whoever lose has to eat a spoon of one of them taken by the winner. Haha, I won a lot of time and most of them were eaten by my brother because I have this 'talent' to put a lot of things at one go on a spoon =).
And when it's my turn to eat, they really give it all to give me back what I had given him...

This week I don't know what went over me, I went to suggest making macaroons. So today, we decided to make it. And the result was terrible... To begin with, we didn't use a single gram of flour. All we used was sugar, almond, egg whites and more sugar. Yeah, so everything was SWEET! All the hard part was done by my sister, like folding the eggs and stirring them until they turned "creamy". But then, washing the bowls was done by me which I very very very seldom do as I can't stand dirty dishes. We did from 2pm to 5pm and by the end, we were so tired from doing them we ended up with macaroons that were anything but round. We threw away quite a lot because a lot were still soft and we went to remove them from the baking sheet and we had absolutely no patient to wait for them. Haha, but in the end, got at least 10 plus macaroons that were in acceptable shape. Yet, I feel like throwing the whole box away because erm, is too sweet for anyone to eat it.....

Seriously, why are all the korean drama I'm watching now has to be showed only twice per week... By the time they showed finish, my holiday has already ended. Aiya~~~~ That new drama with No Min Woo inside was such a nice drama, with Jang Hyuk inside, and they showed only two episodes every week! They should "copy" sing's drama, showing throughout the weekday....

Went to do mani-and-pedicure today~. The male manicurist that help me to do my toenails look exactly like a female model on the runway! Very Tall, slim and pretty... At first when i saw he and his friend walk through the door, i thought he was a model coming here to do spa or something. But then, when i hear his voice, he's obviously a girl. Wow, I'm so impressed... This is the first time in a long time I saw a guy and think whether he's a female or male.

Won a pair of tickets to JJ Lin's Concert =). I didn't expect his concert can be so high... and that he can be so 帅 on stage, with his smoky korean-style eyes make-up and everything。一定是因为他变瘦了！Was very surprise when I saw 萧敬腾 as the guest, cause thought would be some female artist to sing duet with him at first. The concert start at 8.30pm and ends at 11.30pm. I think that his concert is really worth going. We didn't catch the last train but we manage to catch the last bus 155 home =).

Exam are finally over~~~!! Did last minute study again this time, so was extremely stressed. And then on this afternoon, I found this opportunity to de-stress....at the expense of my brother's toes, haha. He was having his afternoon sleep when I painted his toes. When he woke up, he obviously screamed...
Too bad, after all, I did warn him that I'll paint his toe nails one day when I found the opportunity XD.

My sister's boyfriend won like 7 pairs of ticket to the movie premier of Green Honet. So he gave 3 tickets to us to go and watch it today. We reached there at roughly 7.50pm because heard the casts would reached at 8pm. Wah, i thought the casts will like hold a "press conference" and only those with the movie tickets will get to see them. 谁知道去到那边这么多人！Because they host it outside, so is like everyone get to see them. And so many people was like crowding around the stage, given my height, I can't even see Jay Chou properly even if I tip-toe like crazy (==). I got to glimpse his hair and at least still can see the face of the american actors cause they're tall ;). In the end, my brother help to take the photos.

There's also a lot of Mediacorp actists there. I saw Alan Wu, wah, he's so tall! They were all in Cinema 1, and I'm at Cinema 6, which was like so far away from that room. So I kept walking past that cinema hoping to glimpse more actists...

The movie was quite nice, better than what I thought. At first I thought is just some superhero movie, so was not very interested. Is the thought of getting to see Jay Chou in real person that attracted me to go watch the movie. But, the movie was really really very hilarious. Laugh non-stop inside. The movie is like every few minutes got something funny, Even the ending was very funny! You have to go watch to know it!

Went out with JUDY today at Plaza Sing. We met up at 2.15pm and had 'Gong Cha', there is no queue. Then we went to find KayYong to chat until around 3pm and went to shop around while waiting for KayYong to have late lunch together. So at 4pm, we went to XinWang, together with Winnie, for lunch there. Then, we went to Cathay and I finally bought THAT shoes XD!
And afterwards, met my family for movie (@PS), Rapunzel, and dinner at six. Reached home at 10.45pm.
And after all the fun today, is time to come back to reality, where I have damn lots of things to do and to be completed by this week, damn lots of work to do, damn lots of presentation coming up and damn lots of quota/deadline to reached.

Thanks for the chocolate (though it really melt, but is only the outer covering that had melted and is fine after putting it back into the fridge and photos taken from Judy's FB)!

Today, I finally went for the blood test, after pushing it again and again since last week. My legs kept wanting to run away while waiting for my turn. Originally, I have to wait for the hundreds of number before it's my turn, but then my mum just went inside the room and tell the nurse I want to take blood test for Hepatitis B and ta-da!! I skipped 100 numbers in front of me and went to another room and waited for just 2 numbers and it's my turn! Seriously, I won't mind waiting for a long time.
The moment it's my turn, I seriously got this urge to faint. When the nurse started to pat my right arm and can't find any blood vessel (i think), she asked me to change to my left arm. I almost tell her if you can't find, why not you do other people first. But then, 该面对的还是要面对。So I kept quiet... When she turn around and get the needle, I really felt like shaking my arm or untying the string so that she won't be able to find blood and have to redo all those patting again. And yup, when she inject the needle, I actually wailed out a bit.
I seriously think I won't be able to survive the Hepatitis B jab if I really need to do it. Hopefully, I still have the immune system for it.

Went to Bird Park on 12 Dec. Wake up early in the morning @8am to go there. And I had to carry lots of water in my bag, cause no one else is bringing any bag big enough to put so many bottles and my brother didn't go. If he went along that day, haha, I won't be the one taking so many things XD. Didn't went to Bird Park since primary school, all I remembered were the penguin place and the owl place only.

I seriously think is time for me to change path. I must be in an abnormal state to think to choose this kind of course. I'm so stupid, so foolish, so brainless as to really get into this course. I should have listen to my parents by enrolling in other courses, should have listen to the others when they tried to 'hint' me not to go into a science course. I should have just listen to it!
Why am I always making the wrong choice, damn it! This is really a horribe year, and to think that I have to stayed this way for the next 3 years, provided if I didn't change path.

Today after lesson, stayed back after school to meet friend to pass her her shirt. Then went back and stayed until 5pm plus to meet my sister and brother to go out for dinner at Marina Square and then never stop eating since then. Ate CurryMee (share Tec-C) at Marina Square, then walk around and went to eat toasts at ToastBox (share Kopi-C), and finally after shopping, went to Raffles City and ate the Tako ball (share the bubble tea).
And we bought ORGANIZERS! We both choosed until the shop assistant had to tell us the shop is closing soon. Aiya, must be because we both liked the same one but think maybe should buy different ones. We play 'scissor-paper-stone' to let the winner choose the one she wanted. But then, still hard to made the choice. But anyway, in the end, i bought the one I wanted.

Went with sister to buy CheongSam at Holland V on Monday (22Nov). She bought a dark red colour one which if she grow over the month, she's likely to not be able to wear, haha. After that, we went to this japanese bread shop there to eat while we wait for the auntie to do some touch-up on the embroidery of the clothes. Saw a lot of different bread there. Wanted to eat a lot of them, but then have to go home for dinner very soon. So only bought a few that look nice.
After that, we went to take MRT at BonaVista by WALKING from holland V to that MRT. My sister says is only 3 bus stops. I walk until want to faint already still haven't reached! And somemore I'm holding onto my laptop and my extreme heavy bag.

Yeah, so after touring the National Art Museum (near CityHall), we went to have coffee @Esplanade to rest and chit-chat. Then we went to shop at Harvey Norman and at the same time, try out the 3D TV there. Then we went to shop for weighing machine at Watson (Marina Square) and at Carefour (Suntec) and didn't buy any one of them home.

N.A.M PART FIVE of 6There's this room at that place where many artists were gathered there drawing portraits. All you have to do is just sit there for 20minutes and the artists will draw you. And the number of artists there were quite large, from what I heard, they are actually students. The whole room were crowded with them sitting on the floor. After they finished drawing, you can buy from the ones you liked at $10 each. Got some were actually quite nice. And also, from what I feel, I think the 3 children sitting on the sofa (in this picture) looks as if they had sat there for more than 20minutes.

N.A.M PART FOUR of 6Last stop is the outside of the City Hall. Here, I actually didn't pay much attention to what the tour guide was saying, I don't quite remember what she says. But I remember that before we enter City Hall again, she say this path (which we ere walking) was where the students long time ago march this path (that got red carpet) into the hall to appeal for this uni (can't quite remember, NTU i think) not to close down.

N.A.M PART THREE of 6 We then went to this library called 'Rorunta Library' where everything inside is curved or circular in shape. The bookshelves, the table and even the shelves that put TV are curved.
The designer designs it in such a way that the whole library is round, haha, when taking the photos, there's even no need to set camera into 'fish eyes effect' (though my camera doesn't have that effect in the first place).

N.A.M PART TWO of 6Next, I think (don't quite remember) we were brought to the Chief Judge's Chamber to 'see see'. There's a meeting room that is linked to his office too. And there's this special table the tour guide told us about. The table actually is for those 'foreigners' that were working with the judge to hide underneath. They were hidding underneath the table and there's these 'pillars' of the table that ensure air ventilation when the office is locked and everything esle was closed.

N.A.M PART ONE of 6Went to City Hall/former Supreme Court today, cause it is going to close down for renovation into National Art Gallery so there's this guided tour there which we had joined.
Well, the first station which the tour guide brought us to is the 'prison' where the prisoner wait to be brought to the court. Everyone was like fascinated when they're inside, as is not as if you get to visit the prison as and when you want. So people were going into the cells to take photo. Inside the cell, there's this toilet with no flush and the flush was actually outside for the guards to help them flush. They 'scare' later the prisoners use the 'string' of the flush to hurt themselves.

Later on, the tour guide brought us to the 'Court of Appeal' and lead us through the way where the prisoner will walk from the prison to the court. The staircase was made of wood and a bit steep and narrow. And I think would be quite dark if is not in the day. Everything was like so old and when we climbed up the stairs, I was a bit impressed because suddenly everything was so new and bright (referring to the court, I mean).

Is the last episode of 'My girlfriend is a nine-tail fox' and i think that...: 他（No MinWoo）的表情可以再好笑点。。。his expression is so priceless!! I haven't see the episodes yet but when I see the screen-shots, the last episode seem to be very funny! Made me REALLY REALLY want to see that episode. Hope he'll be playing the male lead in his next drama =). 不舍得。

Below is the full story of that scene, at first i thought that the male lead grab the wrong person... but after seeing the episode, then i realised that the male lead actually grab the correct person (see episode 15).

Today went out early in the morning for lunch @Central. Wake up at 9.45am and was late when I reached there. After that, we went to shop around and saw this event (called 'Japan Autumn Festival') happening there and we decided to take part in the 'Delicious art', which uses dried food like green beans to 'colour' the drawing. We completed it within 45 minutes as we had to rush off to Great World City.
We then went to Great World City for 'fashion show' which doesn't really look like one. It's mainly about fashion tips, like how to pair the clothes from that shop together, and some make-up tips. Spent hours in that shop (from 2pm to 4+pm) until I had this mild headache because the light were so bright, the music was loud and everywhere was crowded. Lucky recovered from it or esle this will be the third time eating pills this week. After that, we went to ToastBox as our legs were on the verge on breaking.

Today went out with Judy for...dinner? Cause the time we met was around 3.30pm which was a bit late for lunch but too early to consider as dinner. Haha, but anyway, the rice ball that she CRAVED for 已经倒闭了, so we ended up eating Yoshinoya for dinner. Heard some of her funny encounters about her work at MadJack and also things about her course. I felt that her course has everything planned out for her, like the hospitals will pay for her uni courses (or something like that).
Then later on, went to M&S to visit the staffs there. Waited for KayYong to leave together but then guess we missed him when he went off as we stayed there until 5pm but he still haven't come out, so we went off.
So after that, we walk to somewhere near her work place and she went for her work while I went off to Bugis =).

Woo~. I so happy nowaday. Kept sitting in front of the com and watch korean drama. But have to kept searching korean drama to watch cause most of the dramas is still showing and have to wait for next episode every week, which is kind of irritating. Now, beside watching nine tail fox and scandal, I've found a new drama which I think should be quite nice but I'm still at episode one of King of Bakery, because it doesn't load (or esle I won't be blogging here)!!

Have lots of time now... so went to do a lot of 'useless' things. For example, surfing the net for hours and watching tv late into the night and waking up late in the afternoon (so late that I can skip lunch and have dinner within hours after I wake up). I found this drama call 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' which I think was quite nice and watch 6 episodes in one night, slept at 5am that day. The storyline is a bit like Hana Kimi, quite addictive. If the drama had not stop at episode 6, I probably continue watching. Have to wait for one week for the next episode.
Also went online to search for NoMinWoo's fb or his blog, which I can't find... But I manage to find his myspace, but don't know if is his a not. Watch some of the video of him playing the drums and read some of the comments, lucky there's something call 'google translate' or I won't be able to understand his myspace at all. Maybe I should go and create a myspace account too... haha.
Last thursday night, went out with sister for kbox late in the night, sang from 9.15pm to 12.30am at a promotional price.

Yeah~~~, semester exam is finally over~!
I'm so amazed by how I manage to survive this semester exam. I will be very content already if I manage to pass the modules. A lot of them are studied a few days before, like two days before the exam. I don't know why I always do last-minute studies, everytime i tried to study early, I ended up feeling that there's nothing much to study. And when it's two days before the exam, then i start to feel there's a lot of things to study and manage to cover most of the important ones within two days, at the expense of my sleep. But I ended up feeling very stressed. And it's so strange, 明明一天才考一科可是不知道为什么读了两天还是读不完。
I'll really treasure this 4-weeks break... It's a hard-earned holiday. Going to do everything I wanted during this holiday:
1.Watch 'My girlfriend is a nine tail fox': the second male-lead (in the photo) 真的帅到不行, and he's the main reason why I watch that show XD.
2. Complete that greeting card I made halfway (will reveal when I send it out).
3. Go wash photos and paste on the door (again!)
4.Read Harry Potter books.
5. Watch TV from 7pm to 11pm and the drama at 1.30am to 2.30am timeslot.
6. Sleep till late afternoon (had been waking up early during the week before sem exam).

Finally sad finish my CELL BIOLOGY paper! Another stone thrown off~! Was so stressed for the past two days, because got a lot of parts of a topic I didn't study. During the beginning of the exam, the subject teacher even pat my shoulder and tell me 'try your best'...cause she knows my cell biology CMI. Today after the exam, went to meet my sister and mum for lunch and to shop. Bag was super heavy and at the end of the day, I felt that my shoulders were going to be teared apart very soon. But was worth it, cause I found a pair of shoes that I liked very much and I was in a good mood today (because biology was over and at least I can answer those questions).
Three days ago after my maths exam, I sprained my leg while crossing the traffic light. Probably because maths paper was over. Didn't care much about it until I realised that my legs were swollen the next day. But anyway, it been a long time since I last sprain a leg.

Tomorrow will be the last day of the 3 weeks YOG breaks... SO damn depressed. Never touch much lecture notes during the past few weeks and was feeling damn stressed now. So scare need to pack all my three modules to next semester. I think I'm, well, literally 'finished'. Seriously, I'm definitely not going to continue taking science courses when I graduate. I'm like so damn pissed off by this course. And that, arggg, cell biology report is stressing me out. Is like got damn lots things to write but my report still very short. Haha, congrats to myself...
Tomorrow is definitely a BLACK SUNDAY... so much of 'starting a new day with a new beginning'.

Yesterday received this box of cake because my uncle's child was one month old. At first I didn't know the cake was from who as there was no name except for the child's name. Then I saw the surname 'Xu' on the cover of the box, then I began to think of which family has the surname 'Xu', then it occurred to me that it was my own surname too -_-, then remembered it was my uncle. Haha, my brother also had the same thought as me, but he was more dense than me... he still ask ‘谁的姓和我们一样?’。I am so happy to see the box of cakes, because usually those box contain red-eggs and 'ang-gu-kuek' which I'm not a big fan of. So, wahahaha, I ate quite a lot of the cakes.

Went out with GuGu today after lesson today. We all met at 6.45pm and went to eat dinner. The restaurant where we wanted to eat originally at Millenian Walk was closed down for renovation. So we went to this Japan-western restaurant which is also at Millenian Walk. Was looking forward to this outing because after stressing for the past one week, today can finally rest and relax. After eating dinner, went to shop around. Saw these nail stickers and nail polish that I felt like buying but decided to think about it for a few days before deciding to really go and buy it. After that went to drink coffee before going home. Reached home at around 11pm. (spent $130 at the restaurant, and spent around $7 at the coffee place).

They write the table number in the form of keys.
These hanging pot reminds me of Ron Weasley's House in Harry Potter.

Today went to get popular vounchers from this 'Joint Tuition Awards Ceremony' at Nanyang Poly. The last time I went to is at Singapore Museum, which is around sec 2 or 3. This is probably the last time going to such events =(, poly so hard to get. The lecturer tell me I'll be failing my cell biology, so depressed+disappointed, cause I also think I'll be failing it. It's like the lecturer is comfirming my doubts. I don't want to 打包我的cell biology to next semester.
Shit, and I have Chem + CellBio test next week, and I haven't even start memorising... I can't wait for the 3-week break, my short get-away.

Went to see Nodame at PS on friday night. So spent the whole day outside, except the time when I went home to change for a lighter bag and forgotten to take my ex-link card. Met my sister at 6.40pm for dinner at a burger restaurant at 313. Then went shopping for a while before walking to PS for the movie at 9pm plus. The movie was so funny, everyone was laughing in the movie theatre. Reached home at around 12.30am.

Today had this migraine which gets worse as the time past. At first in the morning, the headache was mild... then by the time Cell Biology comes, my headache gets worse.
The cell biology teacher keeps saying what mRNA, tRNA, rRNA, then suddenly turns to one page got so many alphabets which I completely lost her halfway. Then I panicked, cause I lost what she's talking! And my headache got worse... until all i could do was concentrate as hard as I could while tolerating the headache. After school, still have to go library to print handouts, later she delete away again. Ate panadols again, yesterday ate two pills and today still eat again.
Sat in MRT and sleep all the way home and sleep again when I reached home. Now, I can still feel a bit of headache, better go to sleep early today... or esle, Saturday cannot go out 血拼。

Today went out to watch ECLIPSE and my first impression after the movie was "wow, Jasper Cullen is so fierce!'
Spent $10 on the popcorn+drinks, because got the 'Eclipse Combo Set'. I actually brought home the box that contain popcorns to keep -_-, I just cut off the picture on the popcorn box and paste in on the door. Of course got use wet tissue to wipe the cardboard, in case attract ants... And the cup, feel like buying another combo set just to collect another cup.
After watching the movie, went to eat dinner and then went shopping. Bought a dress...again!

This is the trailer for a movie call 'Vampire Sucks', by a "director who can't stand another vampire movie'. From those few phrases, you can tell this movie is actually talking about 'Twilight'. And it makes the romance-action movie into a comedy movie. Though not a big fan of this 'Vampire Suck' movie, I find the movie trailer is actually a bit funny.

I don't know how I manage to survive the past one week, no mum to wake me up; the use of four clocks ringing at different timings had no effect on me; no mum to cook for us; tired of eating outside food; no sister to pay for my shopping expenses XD; no sister to irritate (except my brother); and sleep super late because mum is not around to nag us to go to sleep (and hence contributing to the reason why I overslept); and lastly, had to wash own dishes and the clothes (I super don't like to do it).
There's one day when the lesson starts at 9am and I wake up at 8am. And I was so shocked that in fifteen minutes I was out of the house and chasing after MRT. And another day when I was late for fifteen minutes for a class. And late by five minutes plus for the remaining days of the week.

Now they're finally back, wahahaha...

Today no one to wake me up and I ended up late for lesson for 15 minutes. Put four clocks beside my bed and yet still can overslept. Wake up at 8.45am when my lesson starts at 10am and the travelling time was like around 45 mins. At 10 am, I was still on the MRT and I was thinking that lucky got storybook to distract me... or esle I'll be panicking on the train.

I'm so happy... I passed my Cell Biology, even though is just 0.5 marks more than the required marks to pass. I was like so relieve, I thought I couldn't passed. I was counting the marks I could get for cell biology when I was sitting for the test, and praying I could pass.
Very satisfied with my Bmaths result, thought couldn't score a very good marks. Started feeling very stressed when the teacher was giving out the papers, cause I saw everyone esle's paper scoring more than 80%. I was like praying so hard that I won't be the only one scoring very badly when my Amaths foundation is not up-to-standard in the first place. But it turn out to be not bad =).

Today was really a day that boost my confidence. 非常感谢老天爷！Wish my other papers will score as good as Bmaths.

I would REALLY liked this course...if there's no such things such as 'hands-on experience' (lab experiments) and presentation! You won't be able to guess how much I hate those two elements; I've been swearing under my breath just because of them!

Went out for the past three days, finally get to go out in peace after the MST.
On Friday, went out to photocopy something and then went to Parkway Parade to wash photos and also went to Popular.
On Saturday, went out early in the morning to watch 'Prince of Persia' then went to meet sister to shop at the IT Fair. So many people there. I have to carry the printer home, just because the trolley is more suitable for me to carry, because I'm short... Went to wedding dinner at night later on.
On Sunday, went out to have lunch with family at a shopping mall. The basement got one area has many vases of flowers. Since we spent some time there, I took some photos of them before leaving there.

The horrifying week 7 and 8 is finally over! Those presentations in week 7 really had me stressing since the day the lecturers announce them! I really hate presentation! I don't know why everytime 我明明有把scripts背到很熟，可是the moment I stand in front, my head just went blank and had to read from the paper! 真的很令人感到厌烦！If only there's no such thing as presentation...., well I can only wish for it, and knows that it will never going to happen!
I'm positive I'm 'dead' for my first MST, especially that damn cell biology. Almost all the question I am unable to answer. Why? Because I didn't memorise like until very detail. What I memorise, the test paper never come out! For example, I study PROCARYOTES vs EUCARYOTEs (they are types of cell) and never come out. Then I never study ENDOCYTOSIS and EXOCYTOSIS (they are some kind of process of the cell) and the test come out! In the end, I use the answers for EU/Pro-caryotes for that question that ask about Endo/Exo-cytosis. I bet the teacher will 'kill' me.
I'm in a hot soup.... I really don't want to fail, but 谁叫我平时不烧香，临时报佛脚，only start studying two days before the MST=(. At least now I'm on a two-week break, a break away from those nightmares that doesn't seem to end. Haha, tomorrow I'm going to go and wash photos and fill my door with photos =); CAN DESTRESS!

Je déteste vraiment la biologie cellulaire. Je pense que pour résumer tout cela, mon biologie cellulaire est déjà terminée. Je dois finir quatre chapitres d'ici dimanche et j'espère vraiment que je puisse terminer l'étude de toutes d'entre eux. Non pas parce que de marquer très bien en biologie cellulaire, mais parce que je ne veux pas manquer très mal. Mais la chose est, je ne peux même pas comprendre les MST 09/10 questions, comment vais-je passer cette MST en premier lieu?

Anway, je suis "mort" ...

Today I've done something I felt very silly, and yet I felt a bit content. Today's 'The NewsPaper' got free this '3D' glasses, but it is just made of cupboard. Anyway, the main prpose of buying the newspaper is because I want to try it on LuoZhiXiang's 3D MV on YouTube. Wow, and it does really have the 3D effects, but of course not very clear. Finally can see how his 3D MV felt like.

Tomorrow is Wednesday; supposed to be a free day, don't even need to go to school in the first place. But because of this project that require us to go shopping and prepare a presentation about their service attitude and the overall attraction of the shop (in terms of the 5 senses and if the shop attracts you), I have to go out tomorrow... I really hate this module, everything that needed to be done need creativity. Last time was to create an item (which had me stressing for ideas for the whole damn week and spent 50cents just to print out one piece of coloured paper), now to access the shop's performance, and the next, is to think of ways to IMPROVE the shop's service! My god, I can tell you honestly I have no creativity! I'm very square one, I don't believe in changing what is already fixed XD, haha! I understands that the purpose of this module is to 'cultivate our creativity and innovation', but how to 'cultivate' when I have none! Chey, even if I had, I must had thrown them away long long loooong ago!
Shopping has never been more stressful...

Another week to suffer... and few more weeks to MST... so many things that are going to be due and yet so little time to do it all. Why do I always procrastinate when I'm determined not to =(?

Today when I was packing my bag, I found this ladybird crawling on my table. Scare the 'hell' outta me! I super hate seeing bugs when my property is concerned. Whenever I see ants or bugs flying/crawling on my table or house, I always have this urge to trap them in a container. In this way, they will not fly around and irritates me so much I can't concentrate. So i quickly find one container and trap this ladybird. This ladybird have this unique design on its back, it's yellow with black strips, which is different from the usual red and black dots ladybird. So I took a few pictures of it before I free it outside the corridor.

I felt really really stressed! Started to wonder why did I choose a science course in the first place. Perhaps I didn't really liked life sciences as much as I thought I have. And now, I'm suffering. I felt like being 'hanged' to 'death' by the course... Thank you (this course) so much, for helping me realised that perhaps I should try going to JC then go back to poly if I really CMI in JC.
I felt like these soft toys that my mum washed today...hanging in the air for dear life!

Today went out with sister to shop and went to bought tee and bag for $53, which is the main purpose why we went out in the first place. Then when we bought the 'HerWorld' magazine also, we are given an opportunity to take photo and get it printed out for free. Haha, I was amazed when i saw the words on the photos same as the words on the magazine. My sister says that if we had known that we will get to be photographed, she would have put on make-up. Hehe, the photo not only have me, my sister and Jam Hsiao's head...XD.

I would really really really THANKS GOD IT'S FRIDAY, if there's no bio practical every friday morning...which I think I will be highly highly LIKELY to stay back during my break time to continue those experiments that I seem to always can't finished. And it's extremely extremely depressing when I can't seem to do those experiments without helps. To top it off, I felt like CRYING when I can't do those experiments when everyone else can! To end it off, every practical lesson is 25% of my overall marks... How can I not cry over those almost-failed practicals (if it really going to happen, which I hope not).

It's the third day since poly starts and I felt extremely tired. Because have to wake up very early in the morning. Have to wake up by 6.15am or else I'll be late to meet my classmates and go to class together. Probably also because long time never wake up early in the morning already, and I also slept late at night. I was very very stress in Bmaths class (Bmaths is very similar to Amaths). Everyone complete their tasks very fast while I'm still doing the first few questions.
Have to bring my laptop on the first and second day. So heavy! After that first day, my arm becomes so pain I can't quite lift my arms, have to apply medicine.

Today only have one class, so after that class (around 10am), I went to Daiso @Plaza Sing to buy things, and then went to M&S to buy the breadsticks, bought a new type, called 'OliveTwists'. Also chat with KayYong there. Then went to Popular to spend the last $20 of my remaining vounchers from last year's speech day. Was very tempted to buy NEWMOON DVD, cause free notebook and badges. But in the end decided not to, since I guess the price will drop one year later. Hence, I bought foolscapes and pens and cardboard the size of a poster instead. I had to carry 3 stacks of foolscapes (5 pads of foolscapes in one stack) to take the bus. my god, I really don't know how I managed to walk from popular to the bus stop carrying the foolscapes and big cardboard and managed not to drop anything or fall down when I board/alight the bus. Lucky my mum wait for me at my house's bus stop to help me carry those foolscapes. After that, I slept the whole afternoon away =(.

Speech Day
Was supposed to update this post on 16April, cause that day is MSS's Speech day. But was too lazy to update. Reached at 4.30pm and went home at around 9pm plus. Then sat with WeiChuan(5C) and we chat during the performance. I never talk to her much when we were still in school, so were a bit amused that we have some common topics to talk about. I liked the band's performance, the part where they wave the flags. Get $230 worth of popular voucher this year, was $350 last year. Probably because never get a lot of awards this year.

New Haircut since last year!
Today went to have a new haircut, finally (the last time I cut my hair is around June 2009). I felt that the length was a bit short. I wanted the hair length to be my sister's one, but he cut it shorter. I think probably because he's the same hairdresser as the last time I cut my hair one, which was probably why I find that the length is the same as last year when I first cut it. We went down to the salon at 7.20pm and reached home at around 10pm plus(x2). I guessed I better get used to my shorter hair now, cause I never expect my hair to be that short again. And overall, I'm quite satisfy with my new hair. And as for my sister, she is so satisfied with her hair she is almost flying~~~, since she longed for short hair.

SP Flag Day 2010
And today is SP Flag Day (2010). I had never felt so awkward in my life before. The whole day I was standing on a long road, blending together with the lamp posts, waiting for people to approach me (instead of the other way round) for donation. Surprisely, people do approach me! I really had no courage to ask doantion from people. And in the end, I raised $32.20, which was a bit more than the minimum requirement of $30. My class starts from 8am and end at 11.30am. At first, the class plans to end at 1pm, then the class rep change to 12.30pm, and finally change and meet at 11.30am. Because everyone was very tired. After that, the whole class went for lunch together and then we went to walk around Tampines1 as a class too! We also realised that some other classes are still doing the flag day. After that, we take MRT to pasir ris and travel all the way back to Dover, so that we can all have a seat (we were all very tired and sleepy).

I honestly really never want to do flag day again!

Recently, I kept going into YouTube to watch LuoZhiXiang's new cf which is about bread. I think he's very 帅 in that cf and the song is so nice. Perhaps it will be recorded in his new album (which I think may not be out so soon). I like the part where he kept 'stripping' off his clothes and change to new ones.

Today went online to watch 'Hong GilDong', that drama is so funny. Got one part they compare korea's ghost and chinese's vampire (ep2), that part I really laughed a lot. And the best part of that show: JangGeunSuk is in that show too! Too bad he's only the 2nd male lead.
Also met with KayYong and Judy for dinner @AMK Hub (Ichiban) today. We meet at 6pm (but I was late) and I reached home at around 8.30pm. Ate jap (cold) noodle, salad and sushi. After eating our dinner, we went to NTUC to walk a while, and Judy walk super fast... Anyway, THANKS for treating Judy and I for dinner.
Yesterday went to Singapore Post to collect some photos that I found on the web. You know, when bored, people can do anything out of boredom... So I went to Popular to buy the cardboard and paste those photos on it, making it into a poster. And to make sure my mum didn't saw what I was doing, I wake up early (around 11am) and quickly went down to buy those things and faster paste the photos onto the cardboard before my mum comes back.
1April... 12 more days before poly officially starts. Really really really not looking forward to it. So stress...no more free time to do whatever I want and whenever I want.

Today wake up at 7.30am and went down to eat the BigBreakfastDELUXE with my sis. We ate until around 9am. Then we went to SingaporePoly to take my student card. After that, went to the IT-roadshow to find a suitable laptop. Was torned between two choices; LENOVA's light weight laptop and FUJITSU's (normal) laptop. The former weigh around 1.4kg and the latter weigh 2.3kg and the price difference is only about $100. So after thinking for a long time (around 30mins plus), I decided to buy FUJITSU (pink!) one. Cause I think that with that amount to buy LENOVA's laptop, I can use it to purchase a notebook at a lower price and is the same size/weight as the LENOVA laptop. I'm going to be stressful in future, cause my parents says they're going to kill me if I lost it, which I also scare I'll lost it and hope that nothing of that sort will happen. *sigh*: one month of my pay is gone when I transfer $ to my sis even though my parents fork out a thousand.

Went out with aunt and sis yesterday for dinner and ktv. Before that, I went to Singapore Post to do something. So I reached Outram Park at 5.45 while my sis reached there at 6.15. Lucky I got bring book or else I'll be sitting at the bus stop for 30mins doing nothing. We ate dinner with aunt at Swensens (6.30pm till 7.30pm plus). We all ate pasta. Mine taste normal but theirs look more nicer. Then went to ktv to sing from 8pm to 11pm (for only $8 per person). Then met a very irritating passenger on the bus. He talks so loud that only his voice can be heard on the bus. And he still on his phone to loudspeaker. His two friends didn't even tell him to stop talking so loud. He talks all the way till it's almost time for him to alight the bus.

TIDYING THE TABLE (I)
My com was damaged...*damned the viruses*. And I used this opportunity to tidy the computer table (just in case the repair man comes), which was also part of my study table. It was then that I realised it is not an easy task. I thought all I have to do was to put those files in a box, but I was wrong. Cause I had to organise them accordingly to subjects, which files is more important, and the likelihood of taking them out again in future. And have to record them on the box. But I'm very quick in my action. Who won't be quick action when they're tidying their desk at 11.30pm? So by 12.30am, I already finished tidying the computer desk! As for my study table, maybe can wait for a few more days..., I'm quite busy resting!

LuoZhiXiang is opening his concert in Singapore on 22May2010. Not really sure if I wanted to attend, cause feel like wasting money. Spend hundred dollar on a ticket to listen to his songs. I have to work like 4days in order to attend it.
