The first place we went at Kaosiung was Cijin Island 旗津島. You need to take a ferry (cost around NT15) from GuShan ferry. If you show your Youth Travel Pass, the ferry ride will be cheaper. We took a cab to Gushan ferry station because is cheaper than taking train, especially when there are five of us. Actually, at Kaosiung, everywhere we went is by cab due to the fact that it is of same price as taking public transport.
At Cijin, we only went to Cihou TIanhou Temple and Cihou Light house. We wanted to go to the Cihou Fort also, but we couldn't find the entrance even thought we follow the signboard. So in the end, we travel until Cijin beach park only.

| Fried quail egg topped with pepper and salt~, very nice! You can eat a lot, that is, if you are not scare of its cholesterol or calories. But I think fried quail eggs are a must-try in Kaosiung, it's really nice to eat and shiok. Other than Cijin island, it can also be found at LiuHe Night Market. |

| Lastly, going back to Gushan ferry station and back to hotel to check in. |
We went to Love River at night (also travel there by cab). The wind at night was cold, so it was really cooling that night. We went to st the ferry and there was a staff explaining the history of love river and some of the landmarks situated around the river. The cost of the ferry should be around $5, I don't really remember. But I remember it was a reasonable price to pay. And after one round, we walk around the river before travelling to 六合夜市 for dinner.

 |
| I wanted to walk this bridge, but it was close that day because they are building some sewage system underneath the bridge. |
Next up is 六合夜市. Again we took cab from Love River to the LiuHe Night Market. I read on a blog that the liuhe night market was a bad experience because of the large amount of tourists and some other things that I don't remember. But I think that the night market was okay. All you have to do is just walk down the straight road and walk back. Not really squeezy and there was still table for you to sit at some of the stalls. Overall, it was a enjoyable night market. We ate quail eggs, chicken, chicken leg, 愛玉冰, 小笼包, caramel-coated potatotes+yam (VERY NICE!) and stinky tofu. As for the stinky tofu, i didn't eat it even thought i really wanted to try it. Darren could eat down so many pieces but after JingKai describe it as having the small of urine and Nankai couldn't even swallow a bite... Haha, I decided not to try it at all.
