We set off for Taiwan on 12 March, flight time was at 1.15am. So, we get to see a not-so-obvious sunrise on the plane! Upon arriving (6am), we went to have our breakfast at the airport (Burger King) first because the counter for buying prepaid sim cards only opens at 8am. We also collected our Youth Travel Pass that gives us discount at selected tourist attractions like Taipei Zoo, ferry to CiJin and Taipei 101.
After doing all the necessary things at the airport, we bought a bus ticket to TaoYuan bullet train station and bought a ticket for our bullet train ride to ZuoYing (Kaosiung). Cost around S$60 and i forgot the duration of the ride, around 2 hours, i think.
