MRT aka [Underground Trains].
In Thailand, unlike Singapore where the trains are link (as in you can be above ground or underground in the same train), there are two types of train there. So if you want to go to one place and the place happens to be able to reached only by underground train, you have to buy another ticket. So most of the time, we have to take the PTS, then changed to MRT.
These coin-shaped thing is their tickets for foreigners.
